Well, it has been a fun experience. Wow , and I was ready to set the world on fire!
I had nearly a dozen book signings set up.
I had spent thousands of dollars in advertising in marketing the biography of my dad , Tony D’Orazi,
“The In-Between Artist”..
Then Covid came. Well I got thorough it, and have sold quite a few books. I will begin doing more book signings soon. My mom always said, “There is a reason for everything!
I am having a virtual book signing at Vroman’s in
Pasadena, at 6 pm on September 27th. I am pretty excited about that. I will let everyone know how to get in. I will be featured with two other famous authors. It will be a virtual event.
I will have 15 minutes to talk about my book “The In Between Artist”. My son Vince is currently editing my new book, that I just finished, and I hope to have it published by early next year. There will be a lot of photos, and I will talk about may of my lifetime memories. It should be a winner!
Well, I found out after writing my first book, that it costs a lot of money to market a book. Also you have to watch out for a lot of scams out there.
But overall, it has been a great experience!
Not getting rich, but learning a lot, and just getting my dad’s story out there “The In-Between Artist”was a very fullfilling experience. I am still hoping it will become a major movie someday, in my lifetime, or sometime in the future, after I am gone.

I am at the beginning stages of my next story, which I hope will be a positve motiviational story about what it takes to be a success as a lifetime sales person, and make a good living at the same time. It will be my story.I have a lot to share. I know there have been many motiviational books written, but mine will be based on facts and experience. You might call it old school sales 101, but not much has changed, but many things still work, in this current environment

Hope everyone is doing well , and having a great summer!

Well , what a week in Montana! I got to hang out with my cousins for a few days and went to a mineral spa to relax before my big book signing at Fact & Fiction in Missoula, Montana at one of their largest bookstores.

I met about 50 people that stopped by the bookstore
and it was so cool. Most of them recognized the D’Orazi name!
I sold some books as well. It was a great week! It was like a dream come true to bring my dad’s life story back to where he was born.

What a fulfilling experience! I hope everyone is having a great summer. My next book has been completed, and is now being edited!
I will keep everyone up to date.

Wow, another cool thing happened in the last few weeks!

I was featured in the Local Author book section at Vroman’s book store in Pasadena, right next to their coffee shop. 

I sold some books as well!

Who would have ever thought!

I have also been invited in the future to talk about my book “ The In-Between Artist” at their store in the coming months.

I will be talking with a couple of other authors.

Well, this sure has been a fun ride, enjoying all these events after my book was written. 

I am so excited about being able to share my dad’s story, and the fact that it will be around forever.

He was an amazing man, and I really got to know him more through writing his life story.

Hopefully it will be a major movie someday!

My dad in his story, said that, ” If God were to put three great artist people from the past, together in one body, Michangelo, Da Vinci, and Rembrandt, it would have been him, Anthony Ambrose D’Orazi, who was born on this day, March 17th, 1909. He was an amazing artist, but he had lots of hurdles to overcome., and he still became famous , in many different ways, despite all his ups and downs. I really am excited and so proud, that I was able to write his life story. I want everyone in the entire world to know who my dad was, and how great a man he was on this earth. Hopefully evryone that reads his life story, can realize that they should never give up. Happy Saint Patrick’s to all, and I hope everyone is wearing green today in honor of St. Patrick as well as my dad. If not I will owe everyone of you a pinch. Ha Ha , just kidding! But that is what we sued to do, but I dont think that our society allows that anymore. But it would be cool, if you are wearing green today. There is only one day a year that it is Saint Patrick’s Day, and one day a year it would have been my dad’s birthday. Or maybe you would prefer to drink that green beer! Take your pick!
