Baseball, Motivation and Sales, it’s in the eyes!

Have you ever looked at the intensity of the eyes of a baseball player before he gets that big hit, or home run, in order to win a game. That is what a great salesman’s eyes look like when they are about to close a big sale. It really motivates them inside and out, when he or she finally closes the sale! It is like hitting a home run , in baseball, to win the big game. This is what I would compare it to. What a great feeling it is! A great salesman feels like he he or she is on top of the world at that time. If you have a chance to see the Dodgers win the World Series this next week, look closely at the hitters eyes, prior to getting that big hit that wins the game for their team! Go Dodgers!
What a team they have this year! Let’s see if the Dodgers can bring the Championship back to L.A. this year! It has been 33 years!

David F. D’Orazi’s Five Golden Rules on How to be successful in sales and life

I personally was able to get into my father’s mind many years after he passed, from his notes he left behind. I was able to see how he achieved success in between all his illnesses.

DD’s Five Golden Rules:
1. Always have a big smile, it pays dividends.
2. Listen more than you talk.
3. Make people feel good about the decision that they are making, and make sure they feel good about what they are buying, and convince them that you are helping them full their need at the time.
4. Give other people what they want, and you will always get you you want.. This is taken from Zig Ziglar, one of the most popular motivational speakers of all time.
5. Always make eye contact, this builds trust.

Try these above tips. It works and I have been using these tips all my life. My dad “The In-Between Artist” also lived by these rules , and he managed to have a very successful life.

How Walt Disney Saved This Man’s Mentally Ill Dad’s Life (An Ad recently nationally published)

Throughout his tumultuous childhood, David D’Orazi witnessed his bi-polar artist dad being taken away in a straitjacket, undergoing 37 electric shock treatments spending months in psychiatric hospitals. But Tony D’Orazi still managed to become a highly successful artist, who was the first cartoonist to work on Walt Disney’s Snow White, and invented the character of Dopey, for the first 80 minute film for Walt Disney. This film at that time was the largest grossing movie of all time for Walt Disney. He also had his own Emmy Award wining popular kid’s TV and radio shows as Uncle Tony O’dare. BIG QUESTION: Is there a link between Mental Illness and Genius? That is a great question?
This will be a great article, and is intended to create interest in the Media World”, who may offer me interviews, on TV, and Radio programs, in the future, after reading this ad.

Who was your special Grandpa in your Life, and how did they make a difference in your life”

After writing this story, “The In Between Artist” , I have been asked multiple times, how I managed to get through all the things my dad went through , as I grew up, and how I managed to deal with them on a day to day basis. When taking a walk today, I figured it out, how I was able to keep a positive mindset throughout my life, and maintain a positive mental attitude.
As I look back, I give a lot of credit, to my step Grandpa Roy, who always was a jokester, and made me laugh. He was a Magician too, and always did coin and card tricks for me. My Grandpa Roy was really a funny guy, and had a great sense of humor., and always managed to get people to laugh. And for that , I owe him a lot, especially for what influence he had during my growing up years.. What he taught me, has been carried through my adult years as well!
It has made a big difference , on how I look at life in general. Nothing like a great sense of humor, and a good laugh!. It is like a golden gift. Who was your funny grandpa in your life? Or that person that taught you how to laugh, and have a great sense of humor? It’s even fun to laugh at the silly things we do ourselves day in and day out.
